My Task
For Somos, I handled the graphic and web design, including the creation of images, to develop a strong and authentic brand identity that reflects the company’s values. The corporate design and branding were crafted to visually communicate the philosophy of Somos – calm, mindfulness, and self-discovery. From the initial concept to the final website implementation, I focused on creating a user-friendly and functional online presence that is aesthetically pleasing and intuitive to use. It was particularly important to ensure that all visual elements, including images, harmonized well together to provide a cohesive overall experience.

The Somos logo is designed to be simple and harmonious, visually representing the core values of the company – calm, balance, and mindfulness. The minimalist design language emphasizes the connection to inner balance and reflects Somos’ message of creating a space for relaxation and reflection.

The name “Somos” deepens this philosophy: As the Spanish word for “we are,” it symbolizes unity and interconnectedness – between people, nature, and the greater whole.

The sound of “OM” is also integrated into the meaning. It represents pure, positive energy and has been used for millennia as a symbol of harmony and spiritual enlightenment. The combination of “Somos” and “OM” makes the logo an expression of community, inner strength, and universal balance.

This ensures that the design remains consistent and professional, while offering the flexibility to update content quickly and effortlessly. For a special customer gift, I designed bags that feature different motifs depending on the season. It was important to me to choose a minimalist and serene design that reflects the philosophy of Somos – mindfulness, calm, and connection to nature. Sustainability also played a significant role: The materials and design were meant to be not only visually appealing but also leave an environmentally conscious and timeless impression.

Less is more – the minimalist concept directs attention to the essential information, conveying the message in a clear and concise manner. The design ensures that the content takes center stage, leaving a lasting, positive impression.

Made from eco-friendly kraft paper, the flyers’ subtle, organic look reinforces the values of sustainability and authenticity. The choice of material complements the minimalist design and gives the flyers a warm, inviting feel.
